Brief Action Planning

Why we use Brief Action Planning (BAP)?

Living with persistent pain changes much of what we do and how we do things. To be more successful, steps of any action plan are better when they are broken into smaller pieces and shorter steps. Research has proven that using a brief action plan (BAP) will help you to increase your successful outcomes by 25 to 50%.

Helping you Identify your Ideal Direction

1.  Write down your plan builds a new neural pathway in the brain.
2.  Determine a confidence statement for your plan.
3.  Check-in with someone (even yourself!).

When you get to the check-in, remember that there are no failures. It is about “what did you learn”. Then ask yourself “What would you like to do next!!”
